Text messaging
Who Ganz Management LLC texts, and why
Ganz Management sends text messages for exactly one purpose: setting up the company timecard application on the phones of our own hourly employees. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not text the general public.
- Who receives messages
- Employees of Ganz Management LLC only. Nobody is enrolled who does not work for us.
- How consent is obtained
- Each employee signs a written consent form, in person, in our office, before their mobile number is entered into the system. The form is published in full at ganzmanagement.com/timecard-consent. It states the purpose, the frequency, the rates disclosure and the STOP instruction, and it records that consent is not a condition of employment. No number is enrolled without a signed form on file.
- What the messages say
- A one-time link to install the timecard app on the employee’s phone, and a replacement link if they change or lose the phone. Nothing else is sent.
- Message frequency
- Approximately one to two messages per year, per employee.
- Cost
- Message and data rates may apply.
- How to opt out or get help
- Reply STOP to any message to receive no further texts, or HELP for help. You may also call the office on 631-470-0200. Opting out does not affect an employee’s job or pay — the setup link is simply delivered another way.
Your mobile information
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile numbers are used only to deliver the messages described above. Neither mobile numbers nor consent to receive messages is shared with anyone for any purpose other than sending those messages — the single exception being Twilio, the carrier service that delivers them on our behalf.
The application these messages set up
Our hourly staff record their time on a phone application as they move between the buildings we manage. The text message carries the single-use link that installs it. What the application records, and for how long, is set out in the Privacy Notice; the rules for using it are in the Terms of Use.
